Dear colleagues,
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Luc Hellmans, CEO of Lantis, on Friday 14 March 2025, after a brief battle with an aggressive form of cancer.
As the CEO of Lantis, Luc was a driving force behind the Oosterweel Link, a project in which several BESIX entities are actively involved. His passing is a profound loss for our organisation and for the many colleagues who work at the Lantis offices. Earlier in his career, Luc also worked at Van den Berg nv (now BESIX Unitec). Our interactions with Luc were numerous, and we will deeply miss the unifying presence with which he left his mark on the Oosterweel project and our industry as a whole.
Our thoughts are with his wife, children and family, as well as all those who knew him well.
