Passing of Jean-Claude Jacquemart

Dear Colleagues,

It is with sadness that we inform you of the passing of our former colleague Jean-Claude Jacquemart on Saturday 18 March 2023, aged 74 years.

We remember Jean-Claude, a brilliant engineer who entered our Group in 1972, as someone who played an instrumental role in establishing our position as a contractor of reference, first in the Middle East, then Northern Africa and Europe.

Along the years, Jean-Claude would go on to become a ‘monument’ in our Group: he played a central role in many of our emblematic projects, from marine works to large buildings like the Grand Egyptian Museum, always striving for excellence and never settling for anything less than the best.

His legacy, however, goes beyond the projects he worked on. Jean-Claude trained and inspired countless young colleagues, passing on his passion and knowledge to the next generation, particularly during the decade when he led the Tender Department in Dubai.

His was a true pillar of our organisation, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to Jean-Claude's family during this difficult time, in particular to his wife Claire and his children and grandchildren, as well as to his relatives and former colleagues.

Please join us in remembering Jean-Claude and the positive impact he had on our company and all of us who had the privilege of working with him.

Colleagues wishing to leave a word of condolence to his family members can send a message to Communication. Your message will be handed over to Jean-Claude’s family.
