The common trade union front ACV-ABVV-ACLVB/CSC-FGTB-CGSLB announced a national strike on February the 13th 2019.
This strike will impact the train schedule of the NMBS/SNCB from February 12 at 22:00 until February 13 at 22:00. However, the NMBS/SNCB will provide a minimum service as the law now demands.
The list of trains that will circulate, will be announced on February the 12th on the website of the NMBS/SNCB https://www.belgiantrain.be/en/news/strike-feb-2019/
The STIB, TEC and De Lijn network will also be impacted. No minimum service is provided for these networks.
Traffic problems are foreseen, especially in large urban areas. We therefore recommend you to limit your commute by car and come to work by walking, cycling or carpooling instead.
In order to limit your commute to work, we also remind you of the possibilities of using regional offices and / or teleworking (teleworking has to be approved by your hierarchy via the BESIX Leave System).
