Launch of Internal Survey – Why Do You Stay?

Dear colleagues,

At BESIX Group, our people are at the heart of everything we do. Each of you plays a vital role in shaping the culture that drives our success. Today, I’m pleased to announce the launch of an internal survey titled Why Do You Stay?

This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to building our irresistible culture: a workplace that continues to attract, engage, and retain exceptional talent. If you attended the BESIX Group Annual Meeting, you will have heard how inspiring, investing in, and instilling an irresistible culture is our number one strategic priority.

You are part of a selected group of 230 employees across BESIX Group who have been invited to take part in this initiative. This invitation is strictly personal. This group was carefully composed to ensure strong representativity across age, gender, seniority, business line, and geographical location. Your voice, alongside that of your peers, will provide a indicatively well-grounded view of what truly matters to our leadership community.

Through this survey, we aim to better understand what inspires you to remain part of the BESIX Group story: what matters to you, what motivates you, and what elements you believe are essential to foster a thriving environment that drives our shared success. The feedback we’ll receive from you via this survey will also provide valuable input for us in the decision if we need to update BESIX Group’s current values: Respect, Passion, Unity, Co-creation & Excellence.

We are partnering with Transearch to conduct both the survey and a series of live interviews. They will ensure full confidentiality: only anonymised, aggregated results will be shared at executive level.

The survey will take no more than 20 minutes of your time. You’ll receive the email on Friday 23 May from assessments@transearch.com, with the subject line “TRANSEARCH International - Why Do You Stay?© Assessment”. Some of you may be contacted by Transearch for a personal interview as well during the month of June. In that email, you’ll find a link to access the survey, during which you’ll be asked to sort 50 statements according to your level of agreement or disagreement. At the end, you’ll have the opportunity to share additional thoughts through an open question: I encourage you to share your feedback on how we can further improve our workplace culture.

There is no one better placed than you to help define and strengthen the culture we want to preserve and grow. Your voice will help shape the future of BESIX, for our colleagues today and for those who will join us in the future. Your participation in this survey is therefore instrumental to the continued success and evolution of our Group.
