In the picturesque region of Boulay-Moselle (France), Muller Frères - Travaux Publics came into being in 1927. With a focus on earthworks, this company made a significant impact on the local community, especially in road infrastructure.
Fast forward to the early 1970s, under the visionary leadership of Gérard Muller, Muller Frères set its sights on conquering the Luxembourg market. It did just that in 1973 by acquiring a small local contractor and transforming it into LuxTP. Back then, the primary business of Muller Frères’ subsidiary in Luxembourg revolved mainly around road and rail works.
The growth story continued, and in 1998, BESIX Group acquired Muller Frères - Travaux Publics, along with the LuxTP subsidiary. And even though Mueller Frères has soon ceased to exist, LuxTP has steadily thrived and expanded its horizons. Some of its most remarkable projects include the Adolphe Bridge renovation, the iconic Philharmonie, and the funicular railway in Luxembourg's capital.
Today, LuxTP keeps moving forward, showcasing its expertise in a wider array of activities, such as wastewater treatment plants, amongst other endeavours.
