The revised Group Policies & Group Rules are live!

Group Me@BESIX Me@SixConstruct 1 min read

In a group like ours, that spans countries and disciplines, clear policies and rules don’t slow us down: they help us move with confidence, protect our people, and safeguard our reputation. Or put simply: policies and rules make things work. Let’s (re) discover them.

Why the refresh?
As our environment evolves (eg. new governance practices, complex projects, emerging risks), our internal framework has to evolve with it. The updated Group Policies & Group Rules reflect the latest expectations and industry best practices to keep us operating safely, ethically and efficiently.

What’s improved

  • Clarity & practicality. The Policies & Rules are written to be clear, practical and relevant (no jargon), so you can apply them in real life.
  • Actionable format. Each section includes a concise “do’s and don’ts” summary page to help you put the rule into practice.
  • Built for the business. Endorsed by the Executive Committee, the new version was crafted to ensure simplicity, operational relevance and ease of application across the Group’s businesses.

Your role (especially if you lead a team)
These rules are a matter for all of us. Every manager (and every team member!) should read, understand and internalise them. That’s how we strengthen our collective integrity and support successful projects. Compliance isn’t about control; it’s about helping everyone work safely, ethically and efficiently and protecting our professional reputation.

Keep the feedback coming
Our rules aren’t static. They will continue to evolve with the realities and needs of our business. Share your experiences and suggestions with the rule sponsor and the Secretary General so we can keep improving together.

Thank you for you active participation.
