Dear colleagues,
On Sunday 15 May 2022, construction sites all over Belgium are opening their doors for the general public again during Open Sites Day. From 10 am until 5 pm, visitors can get a view behind the scenes of their favourite construction site and discover the extensive expertise that is present in the Belgian construction sector. Of course, BESIX Group cannot be missing from this construction event par excellence. This year, no less than 5 sites of our Group are participating!
We warmly invite you to visit one or more of our participating projects. Also, don’t hesitate to take your family and/or friends on this trip with you. Our site teams will welcome you all with open arms!
You don’t need to register, but we advise you to wear sturdy footwear. More information can be found on the web site of Open Sites Day (in French or in Dutch).
The following of our sites are looking forward to welcome you on 15 May 2022:
- the traffic complex at H. Henneaulaan in Zaventem, where BESIX and BESIX Infra are constructing a new bridge and new ramps to and from the Brussels Ring Road;
- the new headquarters of RTBF, Media Square, by BESIX in Brussels, which radio presenter Romain Kuntz already visited, as can be seen in this Instagram video;
- the new eco district Paradis Express in Liège, where BESIX and Wust are currently finishing off the first phase, while the second phase is fully underway;
- the residential project of the Fierensblokken in Antwerp, which Vanhout is renovating with a focus on sustainability and circularity;
- the soon-to-be new headquarters of our entity Socogetra, built by another of our entities, Wust, in Marche-en-Famenne;
