Delivering more sustainable projects requires more than ambition. It requires the right data, the right contacts and easy access to reliable resources.
To support our teams in this effort, the Sustainability Toolkit is now live on the intranet. This new page centralises practical and technical information related to sustainability and is designed as a reference point for project teams, engineers and support functions across the Group.
🔗 Access the Sustainability Toolkit via the Competence Centres tab in the navigation or here.
The Sustainability Toolkit brings together a growing set of resources that are frequently requested on projects, including:
- A database of generic CO₂ factors, to support carbon assessments and calculations
- A database of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), providing verified environmental data on construction products
- Key contacts for circularity solutions, helping teams identify the right expertise when exploring circular approaches
In addition, the page also hosts the Sustainability Newsletters and other useful documents that support sustainability ambitions at project level.
The objective is simple: make relevant sustainability information easier to find, easier to use and easier to share!
The communication page of the Sustainability Competence Center
The Sustainability Toolkit is the official communication page of the Sustainability Competence Center within Engineering. It reflects the expertise available within BESIX and acts as a bridge between sustainability knowledge and operational reality on projects.
Whether you are looking for data to support a tender, references for a design choice or contacts to explore circular solutions, this page is designed to guide you in the right direction.
A page that will grow over time
The Sustainability Toolkit is intended to evolve continuously. New resources, tools and references will be added progressively to reflect project needs, regulatory developments and best practices across the Group.
We encourage you to bookmark the page and come back to it regularly as it develops!
