After ten years as General Manager of Franki Foundations, Wim Claesen has decided to give a new orientation to his career within the Group. Wim will return to BESIX Contracting for some new challenges.
Wim has led Franki Foundations since 2010. We want to warmly thank him for his commitment over the last decade. Wim will act as a board member of Franki Foundations to ensure the continuity during the year 2020.
We have asked Carlo J. Schreurs, Chief Development Officer of BESIX Group, to take up the role of Managing Director of Franki Foundations as of 1st February 2020 and lead Franki Foundations through the challenges ahead. Carlo’s main tasks within Franki Foundations will be to provide strategic and managerial support to the team of Franki Foundations, to focus on improving the profit and returns as well as to support further the co-creation between Franki Foundations and the other companies within the BESIX Group. Carlo will continue his activities as Chief Development Officer.
Moreover, we are happy to announce with immediate effect the nomination of Maurice Bottiau as General Manager of Franki Foundations. Maurice has been working closely with Wim as Deputy General Manager of Franki Foundations and has an experience of more than 30 years in the Deep Foundations industry. Maurice will oversee all operations and develop with Carlo and the current Management Team the future of Franki Foundations. Maurice will directly report to Carlo.
We want to congratulate Wim, Maurice and Carlo for their new functions.
