We are seeing a growing number of data security questionnaires from clients, partners and other stakeholders. These questionnaires are meant to assess how we manage and protect data within our organisation. The questionnaires can be sent during the tender stage, but also during the execution phase of a project.
It is essential that these questionnaires are completed accurately and consistently. Incorrect or incomplete answers can lead to misunderstandings, delays, or issues during project execution, ultimately impacting our relationship with clients, partners and stakeholders. Unfortunately, we’ve seen in the past that these questionnaires are filled in without consulting the BESIX Group ICT Department, resulting in mistakes and misalignment.
To ensure quality and alignment, colleagues of all departments should always involve ICT when responding to these requests or questionnaires.
Please cascade this message within your teams and ensure that the following procedure is applied:
- Inform your department head or N+1 when you receive a request to fill in a Data security questionnaire.
- Submit a request via the BESIX Group ICT Service Desk > Request a service > ICT Management > Security questionnaire.
- Alternatively, contact your local ICT representative for support.
