Fatal accident at Triangle project (Paris, France)

Dear colleagues,

It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that a fatal accident occurred on Tuesday 24 September on the Triangle project site in Paris.

A formworker (aged 44) was seriously injured when a metal formwork fell during the stripping of a column.

Despite the rapid intervention of the emergency services, he unfortunately died at the hospital.

The worksite was halted on Tuesday, and has gradually resumed as from Wednesday in agreement with the relevant authorities. A psychological unit is available in Paris for all colleagues who feel the need to talk or receive support.

In accordance with our procedures, we will be conducting an investigation to understand the exact circumstances of this accident, in collaboration with the authorities.

Our priority is to guarantee everyone's safety, and we will do everything necessary to ensure that this does not happen again.

We know that such an accident arouses a great deal of emotion and touches us all deeply.

Our thoughts go out first and foremost to the victim's family and loved ones, as well as to his colleagues and all those affected by this tragic event.
