Together, let’s build our collective cyber security knowledge: simulation & training

Group 1 min read

Dear colleague,

As cyber threats continue to grow, impacting businesses and operations, improving our cyber resilience has never been more critical. This is why we have introduced the BESIX Cyber Resilience Training Programme for all staff.

What will you experience?

1. Phishing simulations:

You can expect to receive in your mailbox regular, AI-driven phishing simulation emails that will test your vigilance and help us identify vulnerabilities.

To spot these simulations, stay vigilant at all times and always verify the sender's name and email address before opening any attachments. Above all, be wary of offers that seem too good to be true.

If you encounter a suspicious email (be it a ‘real’ one, or one generated by the simulation exercise), refrain at all times from clicking any links or opening attachments. Report it immediately using the 'Report' button in Outlook. This new button will gradually appear in everyone’s ribbon in Microsoft Outlook in the coming days:

If you're on a mobile device without this option, forward the email to spam@besix.com.

Note: these simulations exercises will not be announced, you might once or twice fail the test. Don’t worry! This is just an exercise to get us collectively stronger to face cyber threats – it has, of course, nothing to do with performance appraisal.

2. BESIX Cyber Resilience Training Programme:

Engage in our 5-minute microlearning sessions delivered weekly to your inbox. These sessions are designed to strengthen your understanding of cyber security. Our collective goal is to achieve the bronze certificate, enhancing our team's overall cyber resilience. Register here in the BESIX Cyber Academy to follow the security awareness training and find numerous resources.

Together, let's commit to a safer digital environment by staying informed and alert.

Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to our cyber security efforts.
