Dear colleagues,
As of Monday the 26th of October, new rules will come into effect for the restaurant at the Head Office. We’re introducing these new rules to keep us all safe.
What’s changing?
We will launch a shift system during lunch to avoid congestion of the restaurant area. You can eat from:
- 12:00 to 12:45
- 12:45 to 13:30
- 13:30 to 14:15
Do I have to make reservations?
Yes, since the number of seats is limited, you do have to reserve your spot before 10AM. The list to reserve your meal has now been changed to a list with shifts with a maximal number of orders. Like previously you can put your name and order on the shift list of your choice as long as there are spots available. If the list is full, you will need to choose another shift.
Can I bring my lunch from home and eat it in the restaurant?
No, unfortunately you can’t. You’re kindly requested to eat your homemade lunch at your desk. The restaurant area is reserved for people who order a cold or hot meal.
And what about the sandwich I’ve ordered?
We kindly ask you to eat your sandwich at your desk as well.
Anything else I need to take into account?
Keeping a safe distance is one of the pillars of our protection against COVID-19. We’ve put markings on the floor which can help you to keep that distance. Please keep in mind that mouth masks are an extra measure. They don’t replace a safe distance.
Also, don’t forget to flip over the blue card on your table when you’re done eating. This way the cleaning team can disinfect your table faster.
I still have questions, who can I turn to?
Jan Vangeel is the COVID Officer for the Head Office. You can reach him by e-mail or on 0473/738062. You can also have a look at the COVID-19 Guide for the Head Office.
