Exclusive news for our teams: the consortium led by BESIX, alongside Briand, AIA Life Designers and Systra, has been selected by Aéroports de Paris (ADP) to design and build the extension of Terminal 3 at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport.

This major project concerns the extension of the terminal around three key structures: a new two-sided boarding pier serving Schengen and international flights, a 14,000 m² central building dedicated to retail and services, and an extension of the Arrivals building, including a new baggage handling system. By 2030, this extension will increase Terminal 3’s capacity to 9.4 million passengers a year, supporting the continued growth in air traffic.
Beyond its architectural and environmental ambitions, the project represents a major technical challenge: the works must be carried out without disrupting terminal operations. To meet this challenge, the consortium will rely heavily on industrialised solutions and off-site prefabrication. A significant share of the structures, façades, floors and roofs will be manufactured in a factory before being assembled on site. This approach will improve execution quality, reduce construction risks and limit the impact on airport operations.
