- Emirates RDF (UAE): Besix JV to start production at region's first RDF plant in October. Earlier in September, the head of the Ajman Municipality, together with the undersecretary, visited the facilities
- Vistula Spit (Poland): The Minister for Maritime Economy, together with mutliple officials, took part in the laying of the foundation stone of the north bridge
- Logitics hubs (Study - Belgium): BESIX took part in a study showing that the use of a logistics hub to supply sites can reduce the total cost of logistics (in average 8 to 12% of a project’s total cost) and transport by more than 40% in an urban environment, with a significant reduction in CO2 emissions
- Circular Viaducts (the Netherlands): Feasibility study to run until February 2021 with the selection of 3 consortia (out of 10, incl. BESIX) to enter the prototype phase. The country aims to be fully climate-neutral and circular by 2030, incl. for the construction/renovation of its bridges and viaducts: proposals focus on the use of wood, composite and circular concrete, 3DCP
- Sluishuis (the Netherlands): the building, developed and built by BESIX and Vorm, will become an architectural icon in Amsterdam
- Singleton Military Area (Australia): BESIX Watpac is refurbishing the site with objective to achieve high local and indigenous employment and procurement (82% local engagement within a 150 km radius)
- 3D Concrete Printing (UAE): our colleague Jonas Vandeven promotes the construction sector in this video published by the Flemish Construction Federation in their recruitment campaign to boost the attractivity of the sector
- Dubai Uptown Tower (UAE): With Dubai Uptown Tower, BESIX gives an example of open innovation at global scale
- Cai Mep Ha Logistics Center (Vietnam): Vietnamese authorities hope to get the support of EU companies to further develop the local largest deep port
