Building excellence: BESIX successfully maintains ISO certifications

Group 1 min read

On May 30, 2024, BESIX Contracting successfully retained its ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications, as confirmed by SGS, the third-party certification body. These standards are internationally recognised for enhancing performance, managing risks, fulfilling legal requirements, and building trust among customers, stakeholders, and employees.

This achievement reflects the dedication and professionalism displayed by our team members in preparing and executing their tasks. This was shown during rigorous audits conducted over recent months across our projects globally and at our headquarters in Brussels and Dubai.

Our IMs and QHSE teams would like to extend their gratitude to all staff members for their collaborative spirit and professionalism throughout the audit process.

The SGS auditors noted in their report:

  • No major non-conformities were found.
  • Five minor non-conformities were identified.
  • Several opportunities for improvement were recognized, along with positive observations.

Moving forward, the IMs and QHSE teams are committed to closely working with all relevant stakeholders to analyse and address these findings, solve the non-conformities, and enhance our operational excellence continually.

Jan Van Steirteghem, COO of BESIX Construction: "Achieving group-wide certifications across our 4 BESIX Contracting Business Units is crucial in assuring our clients of our commitment to maintaining high international standards in design, build, operations, and maintenance, regardless of location."

Details on the certifications and related procedures are available in the IMs Library.

Congratulations to everyone involved, and thank you for your ongoing commitment to excellence!
