BESIX has been awarded a new Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contract for the construction of the core and shell of a hyperscale data center in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. This marks the fourth data center project delivered for this global leader in Wallonia, once again demonstrating the company’s ability to rapidly deliver complex digital infrastructure.

From foundations to core and shell: a comprehensive delivery
As part of a temporary joint venture with Jan De Nul, BESIX is responsible for the foundation works and underground utilities of the new data center. This scope is complemented by civil and structural works, the building envelope, and landscaping, resulting in a fully integrated project delivery.
Fast-track execution
As with previous data centers, the project is being delivered on an accelerated schedule. Fast-track delivery of complex facilities requires disciplined processes, transparent collaboration, and comprehensive interface management. BESIX teams are working closely with demanding operators and key stakeholders to ensure consistent and predictable outcomes.
