Begin 2024, BESIX Environment successfully installed a temporary sludge dehydration unit at the Wastewater Treatment Plant of Trivières for client IDEA - Coeur du Hainaut.
This set-up facilitates the transition to advanced centrifuge decanters, replacing belt filters and optimising sludge dehydration for enhanced waste management. The temporary centrifuge decanter, boasting an 80 m³/h hydraulic capacity, ensures continuous operations throughout the project, a critical priority for IDEA.
BESIX Environment is not the only entity of BESIX that is involved in this project. While they are in charge of the environmental installations, our Walloon colleagues at Socogetra are in charge of the essential civil works of this Wastewater Treatment Plant project.
