We are pleased to share the results of our latest EcoVadis assessment.
BESIX achieved a score of 76/100 and earned a Silver Medal, awarded to the top 15% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide, across every industry, over the past twelve months.
The comparison that matters most to us is with our own industry. Among companies assessed in the Construction of Buildings sector during that period, BESIX Group now ranks in the top 6%, compared with the top 14% last year.
Our key strengths include:

This progress reflects the importance of clearly documenting and communicating the sustainability practices, systems and initiatives already in place throughout BESIX: in most cases, EcoVadis rewarded stronger proof rather than new initiatives.
A stronger position, thanks to collective effort. The result reflects the collective efforts of many teams across the Group, and the continuous strengthening of our sustainability management and reporting practices.
Why does this matter? EcoVadis is one of the world's most widely recognised sustainability ratings. Clients, procurement teams, investors and business partners use it to assess companies during supplier qualification, prequalification and tendering processes. It therefore supports our competitiveness in a market where sustainability has become an increasingly important selection criterion.
The new EcoVadis scorecard can be used immediately in tenders, prequalification files and client submissions. The current scorecard is valid until 23 July 2027. If a client requests the scorecard through the EcoVadis platform, please inform the ESG team so that we can track these requests. Whenever the EcoVadis medal is displayed externally, EcoVadis requires a link to our Recognition Page.
