BESIX Group, in collaboration with Art Emaar, presents six monumental sculptures by world-renowned Belgian conceptual artist Arne Quinze. The sculptures are on display at The Foundry, the progressive hybrid art and event space in downtown Dubai.
Installed on the occasion of the Dubai 2020 World Expo, they remain on display at the Foundry until 31 March 2022.
The six impressive monochrome aluminum sculptures make up the Chroma Lupines series and reflect nature's beauty, diversity, and power throughout its evolution. With Chroma Lupines, Arne Quinze encourages the public to reconsider the wonderful added value nature can bring to society.
Benoit Vadani, BESIX Middle East Business Development Vice President, proprietors of the sculptures: “We are particularly pleased to introduce a world-acclaimed contemporary Belgian artist to the people of Dubai and the many art lovers the UAE is hosting during the fantastic World Expo and now Art Dubai. BESIX is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with Art Emaar and to host our sculptures with the prestigious Foundry.”
Over the past 25 years, Arne Quinze's works and installations have been presented in many countries and cities around the world, including Dubai, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing and Seoul.
Open from 10am to 10pm every day, the Foundry is open to the public and all art enthusiasts looking for inspiration. The Foundry's car park is convenient and easily accessible thanks to well-placed signage on Downtown Dubai Boulevard.
After the exhibition, sculptures will be at art lovers’ disposition for acquisition.
