Dear colleagues,
With the new year also come new developments within our Finance team in the Business Unit International.
Following the departure of our colleague Hung Le, who, after 17 years of dedicated service in BESIX Middle East, has decided to pursue a new chapter in his career outside the company, the position of CFO of BESIX Middle East recently became available.
I am pleased to announce that Thierry Grégoire is returning to the UAE as CFO Middle East, replacing Hung. Thierry's vast experience, including his former role as Finance & Administration Manager in Brazil (Portonave project) and his leadership in the Middle East from 2009 to 2012, makes him the ideal candidate for this position.
We are confident that Thierry's expertise will greatly benefit our finance operations in the Middle East.
Gabriel Martin, who previously worked on the Nachtigal project in Cameroon, will now take over Thierry’s prior function of Finance & Administration Manager in Brazil. Gabriel's skills and experience in finance management will undoubtedly be an asset to our Brazilian operations.
Lastly, Ian Himschoot, who has been an integral part of the Finance department in Cameroon, will assume the role of Finance & Administration Manager specifically for the Nachtigal project. His experience with our financial operations will be instrumental in his new role.
Thierry, Gabriel, and Ian bring a wealth of global experience to their new positions, and we are confident about the fresh perspectives and leadership they will bring to their respective roles.
