Dear colleagues,
I’m pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of BESIX Group has confirmed the appointment of Pierre Sironval as Chief Executive Officer of BESIX Group with effect from 1 January 2023.
Since his appointment as Deputy CEO in June 2021, Pierre Sironval has demonstrated his ability to lead the company through turbulent times. His strong operating experience plus his hands-on approach contribute to strengthening the execution of BESIX’s strategic and operating priorities.
Moreover I’m pleased to add that the Board of Directors has also confirmed the appointment of Hans Beerlandt as Chief Financial Officer of BESIX Group as of 1 January 2023. Hans Beerlandt is Executive Director in charge of Finance since late 2020, and progressively ICT, Insurance & Risk Management.
With his proven track-record of strategic thinking and financial acumen, Hans is the right person to continue on our path to stronger profitability and to help the company focus in the current challenging times.
Until the end of the year, I will continue to accompany and coach both Pierre and Hans in their daily activities, as well as the whole Executive Committee.
To ensure seamless stewardship of the company, I will remain in charge until 1 January 2023, while working hand in hand with Pierre and Hans, with whom I have developed a strong and efficient collaboration characterized by trust over the years. After this date, I will continue to act in an advisory capacity.
