In December last year, we launched a voting process for all BESIX Group staff, to elect their favourite project among a number of those supported by BESIX Foundation. The project with the most votes then would receive the famous Staff Award.
You might also remember that, as BESIX Foundation celebrated its 15th anniversary last year, the bar was raised particularly high, and two projects would receive a Staff Award and a cheque for €25,000!
You voted, you chose.
The two winners are:
- Cavoequiva (Ivory Coast). Founded in 2003, the NGO has rescued 1,123 girls, offering them shelter, education, and a better chance for the future.
- Opus III (India). Operating since 1998, it now has four schools educating 1,500 children. Their holistic approach includes health and women’s empowerment.
