1. Track-laying progress in Riga (Latvia)
In Latvia, the team is hard at work laying tracks at Riga Central Station. The southern part of the station is being prepared for a temporary solution—laying a second track with a 1520 mm gauge to allow train and passenger traffic to be diverted while construction continues on the northern half.
With about 6 km of track to be completed in this phase, the team is moving forward with precision and focus. We’re proud of the dedication and teamwork that’s making this crucial project a success!
2. BESIX Watpac spreads holiday cheer (Australia & New Zealand)
This past holiday season, our incredible team at BESIX Watpac took part in their annual Holiday Food Drive, spreading kindness and support across Australia and New Zealand.
With hearts full of generosity, they donated hundreds of non-perishable food items to help those in need. The initiative was a great reminder of the power of giving back to the community.

3. Oxagon team shines with Quality Award (Saudi Arabia)
We’re thrilled to share that the team at Oxagon in Saudi Arabia has been recognized for their exceptional work on the project! Neom, the client, has awarded the team for their outstanding performance, placing the Consortium at the top of the quality performance list for all projects in the Oxagon development.
This impressive achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of the entire team, led by Osama Salem.
Congratulations to all involved, and thank you for setting such a high standard of excellence. The award ceremony on January 5, 2025, was a well-deserved celebration of your hard work and commitment!
4. Winter training fun at Franki Foundations and BESIX Infra (Belgium)
At Franki Foundations Belgium, the winter season wasn’t just about the cold weather—it was all about learning and bonding! The team kicked off the week with a refresh class covering load management, electrical and mechanical work, welding, and goal setting.
But the fun didn’t stop there! The team also took part in an engaging teambuilding activity called Chain Reaction, where everyone worked together to create a complex, action-packed material journey that sparked creativity and collaboration. The second day of training took an inspiring turn with a musical immersion for the team. It's going to PULSE at Franki in 2025!
At BESIX Infra, training is always on the agenda—especially during their annual winter session, which has been a tradition for over ten years. Each year, the team selects a new theme to help everyone grow in their roles. This year’s focus is Eagerness! The big question on everyone’s mind: how do you start each workday with energy and enthusiasm? This theme is designed to inspire the team to kick off every day with the motivation and drive needed to tackle any challenge ahead.
