That is why we are launching the next phase of AI adoption at BESIX, with the confirmation that Microsoft Copilot is our standard AI solution for work. Copilot Chat is available to all employees, while Copilot 365 Premium is available through a dedicated licensing process for colleagues who need deeper integration with their daily tools.
This is not just an IT initiative. It is a business enablement initiative designed to help all of us work faster, improve quality and spend less time on repetitive tasks, regardless of our role or technical background.
One question often comes up: Is it safe? The answer is yes. BESIX has deliberately selected Microsoft Copilot because it operates within our Microsoft environment, under our existing security, governance and data protection framework. Our data, identities and permissions remain within the BESIX ecosystem, making Copilot the approved AI solution for work involving BESIX information.
At the same time, Copilot is what it is… a tool, not a replacement for human expertise. It supports our work, but judgement, accountability and decision-making remain ours.
To help everyone get started, we are putting in place a practical support system including guidance, learning sessions, dedicated coaches and a central intranet hub.
Our call to action is to you is simple: don't wait until you feel like an expert. Open Copilot, try it, experiment, and learn by doing. Used safely, responsibly and with good judgement, AI can help all of us focus more of our time on what really matters.
