For the second time since its inception, the BESIX Foundation has organised a Volunteers’ Award as a means for our volunteers to recognize and celebrate the charitable organisation they appreciate the most.
A couple of weeks back, we invited nominations from across various charities, allowing volunteers to vote for their preferred organisation deserving recognition for their exceptional efforts. The votes were tallied, and after careful consideration, Opération Thermos | Thermos Operatie emerged as the winner 2024 with an overwhelming majority of 73%! For decades, Opération Thermos | Thermos Operatie has been instrumental in providing meals and essential support to those in need, mostly in Brussels and Liège.
Wednesday evening was a joyful occasion as members from BESIX Foundation's team of volunteers had the pleasure of presenting a €5,000 cheque to Opération Thermos | Thermos Operatie. The President of Opération Thermos | Thermos Operatie, Céline Vivier, graciously accepted the award on behalf of the charity.
