As part of our ongoing commitment to ensure the highest standards of safety within BESIX Group, we are happy to announce that the Global Safety Time Out will this year again take place across all our entities, affiliates and teams. The Global Safety Time Out is a pivotal event that aligns with the World Day for Safety & Health at Work, which takes place on 28 April 2026.
Save the date: The Global Safety Time Out will be scheduled during the week before or after the World Safety & Health at Work Day, which takes place on Tuesday 28 April 2026. That way, everyone has a opportunity to pick a suitable moment.
2026 core theme: In the light of the latest fatality in our Group, this year’s Global Safety Time Out will focus on our Life Saving Rule “I keep myself out of the line of fire”, and on how we can strengthen our safety performance related to this rule. In addition, a webinar will be held on stress management. More information coming soon!
Why it matters: The Global Safety Time Out is an opportunity for each of us to reflect on what safety means on a personal level, to our colleagues, subcontractors and business partners. It's a chance to assess our impact and explore how we can each contribute to a safer workplace within our sphere of influence.
Your role: We invite you to think about how you can make a difference. Whether it's through sharing insights, participating in safety drills, or advocating for safer practices, your involvement is crucial.
