Why are we often driving too fast, even though we know it’s dangerous? Why is it so hard to kick unhealthy habits, even though our health is important to us? Why aren’t people always behaving like we expect them to, even though we’ve explained them clearly what we expected?
This year the Global Safety Time Out focuses on behaviour. How do the mechanisms of human behaviour work and how can we influence them?
Very simple! By setting exemplary behavior for example. The Red Devils have understood that when it comes to fair play. Every time they enter the pitch, thousands of children's eyes are watching and that has an impact. And our BE SAFE ambassadors have understood that when it comes to safety on site, where there is much more at stake than a red card.
