Let's get to know Adrien's perspective on his unique and challenging profession.

The art of crane operation

Adrien’s task is essential: supplying our teams with the essential materials they need to produce and build, on time and in the safest way. The crane acts as the powerhouse, lifting heavy loads and distributing them across the construction site. Adrien's responsibility is to ensure the safe and precise movement of these loads. Before each lift, he meticulously analyzes the situation, guided by the Life Saving Rules principles.

Passion and autonomy

When asked about his favorite aspects of the job, Adrien expresses his love for the autonomy that comes with operating the crane.

“From my elevated point, I witness the daily progress of the construction site and I truly feel like a key player in the project. I also love the unique opportunity my job provides to explore different countries, opening doors to new horizons.”

Challenges and precision

Adrien's work isn't without its challenges. Working in all weather conditions, he emphasizes the need for safety and precision. Weather elements can impact load lifts, making it essential for him to carefully analyze and anticipate each move. It's a job that requires not only technical skills but also adaptability in the face of changing conditions.

“The tallest of the four tower cranes on the Triangle site for the moment has a cab height of 59.4 metres, and the jib is raised to 83.57 metres. These are very particular working conditions, which I have to take into account at all times.”

A message to aspiring crane operators
