Dear colleagues,
Please note the following changes to the organisational set up of the Business Project Support department (BPS), effective 14 October 2024.
These changes aim at further contributing to excellence in project management and execution, ensuring a more streamlined support to all business units, and better aligning with the evolving needs of our operations. They will also improve resource allocation and enhance our overall operational efficiency.
- Document management and archiving will be integrated into BESIX Engineering – Information management, under the leadership of Kristof Vandenbogaerde, reporting to Fabian Boucher;
- Knowledge management will be merged with BESIX Engineering – Information management, under the leadership of Kristof Vandenbogaerde, reporting to Fabian Boucher;
- Integrated management system (IMS) and certification will be integrated into QHSE, reporting to Alexis Laroche.
The executive committee has also decided to revisit the existing IMS to adapt to the new BESIX governance and to establish synergy of all processes within BESIX in order to achieve operational excellence. This project, called “Blue Sky”, will be led by Pimmie Aendenboom, assisted by Bob Thielemans as Continuous Improvement manager. For the project Blue Sky, Pimmie will directly report to a steering committee composed of Geert Aelbrecht, Patrick Baeten and Mathieu Dechamps.
Pimmie will take up this leadership role in addition to her actual role within the QHSE department, where she will stay in charge of digitisation. Tohi Ballock will take over her responsibilities for international (effective in November). As project Blue Sky enfolds, Pimmie will gradually take up a full position as QHSE manager for BESIX Construction, reporting to Alexis Laroche.
Please join us in congratulating our colleagues with these new appointments, and in wishing them the best of luck in their new endeavours.
We, of course, remain at your disposal for any additional information you would wish.
Geert Aelbrecht, Chief People Officer
Patrick Baeten, Secretary General
Mathieu Dechamps, COO BESIX Construction
