Dear colleagues,
For many of us, the 1st of September brings new challenges and new beginnings – and this is no different at BESIX!
After a short hiatus, we are very happy to welcome back Eva Heirbaut in our ranks. Eva has been appointed the new role of Finance & Administration Director of BESIX Belgium-Luxembourg. In this function, she will report to Hans Beerlandt hierarchically and to Mark Beyst functionally. She will be seconded by Kobe Fouvry, who has been appointed Deputy F&A for BESIX Belgium-Luxembourg.
Eva started her career at BESIX in 2007. She went on to have an impact on many BESIX projects in different functions. We are delighted that she will continue her successful career at BESIX. We would like to thank Eva and everyone involved in this new work organisation for proving that new opportunities are open to us all through internal mobility.
In her new role, together with the management team of BESIX Belgium-Luxembourg and the Finance department, she will proactively manage the financial aspects of the Belgium-Luxembourg contracting activities, with a strong focus on reporting on cost and revenues, budgeting and controlling. She will provide support and guidance to the Operations, following up closely with the teams to monitor their project’s profitability and protect their predicted margins.
As such, Eva will partially take over some of the existing tasks of Stéphane Glorieux, who will soon evolve towards new responsibilities within the Finance organisation. This will be addressed in a broader communication on Finance organisation in the coming days.
