We would like to inform you of a new work organisation within the Finance function, following the departure of Jean-Pierre Butacide. The objective is to ensure continuity, clear points of contact and strong support for the business during this transition period.
Thierry Grégoire: interim CFO BESIX Construction
Thierry Grégoire will act as interim CFO for BESIX Construction, effective 1 July 2026.
In this role, he will provide visibility on the performance of the Business Line Construction towards Hans Beerlandt, Group CFO, and Jan Van Steirteghme, COO BESIX Construction, while supporting the Finance Managers across the Construction business units.
His responsibilities will include coordinating the budget process for the Construction BUs, representing Finance within the Operational Committee, moderating regular DAF meetings and ensuring alignment with Group Finance. Together with the Group CFO, Thierry will also represent Finance at the various investment committees (C-PACs).
In addition, Thierry will follow up on ongoing projects such as 4PS and Terra, support and coordinate the African projects within BU Middle East-Africa, and contribute to the recruitment process for the new CFO BESIX Construction.
For the time being, the oversight of BESIX S.A. Finance, and Accounting in particular, is not included in this scope. Business Enablers will be followed up by the Group CFO, including the clarification of reinvoicing and allocation principles for the BUs and BEs.
Hélène Danho: CFO BESIX Middle East
As of 1 July 2026, Hélène Danho is appointed Chief Financial Officer of BESIX Middle East. She will take over the full scope of Middle East operations, covering Finance, Cost Control, People and ICT for both the Construction and C&A business lines.
This appointment is an important step in the planned succession strategy. It recognises Hélène’s contribution since joining the organisation, her ability to take on the breadth of the role, and the structured handover led by Thierry.
