Dear colleagues,

I’m delighted to announce that Mohamed Bahaddou will join us as Global Head of Internal Audit, starting from 22 May 2023.

Mohamed holds a Master’s in Finance and Economics from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management, and a Master’s in International Taxation from the Solvay Business School (Belgium).

He began his career in the audit sector, holding various positions at Deloitte before moving on to the ENGIE Group (Electrabel, GDF Suez, and ENGIE), where he focused on the EMEA region.

Recently, Mohamed was appointed as a 'juge consulaire' and 'juge commissaire' at the Corporate Court in Brussels (*). He currently serves as the Director of Organisation, Finance and Internal Control for the City of Brussels. He is also invited professor of Finance at the ICHEC Brussels Management School.

He will be replacing Vincent Delcour, who has taken up new responsibilities in the Finance Department. As Global Head of Internal Audit, Mohamed will pursue with his team the work of the department in evaluating and improving our operational procedures, risk management, control functions, and governance processes.

We are confident that his extensive expertise and experience in audit and risk management within multinational corporations will be a valuable asset to BESIX.

In his new role, Mohamed will report directly to the Chairman of the Audit Committee and functionally to me.

Let’s welcome him warmly in our group and support him to the fullest.

Pierre Sironval
CEO BESIX Group
