Dear colleague,
We are making some changes to further improve the security of our IT environment. The change is twofold: you’ll have to set a new password for your BESIX account, and you’ll be asked to install Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to further secure your account.
1. Set up a new password
You can reset your password as from now. To do this, follow the steps in the document attached.
It is also possible that you are prompted by your laptop or computer to change your password automatically: in this case, follow the steps as from step 3. We recommend you print this communication so you can refer back to it if this happens.
2. Install Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
To further secure our working environment, you also have to install Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). MFA is a method in which you have to successfully complete at least two steps before being granted access to the Microsoft environment. The first step is simply to fill in your username and password. The second step goes via the Authenticator App on your smartphone or via SMS.
You will be automatically prompted to install MFA when opening SharePoint or Intranet on your computer/laptop as from this afternoon. All steps to install MFA are carefully explained in the document attached. Read it attentively and follow each step. We recommend following the steps as soon as you are prompted to install MFA. If you don’t, you will not be able to access SharePoint any longer.
If you have questions about the steps attached, contact the IT Service Desk.
Thank you for your collaboration.
