We are pleased to announce that yesterday the Charleroi Criminal Court acquitted Établissements Jean Wust S.A. of the two main charges and granted a suspension of sentencing on a secondary charge, for both the company and the concerned managers in the context of the ongoing proceedings. This important decision brings an end to a long period of uncertainty and confirms the lack of foundation for the accusations brought forward.
Since the beginning of this case, we have consistently chosen transparency, full cooperation with the authorities and strict compliance with the legal framework. We would like to commend the exemplary attitude of our teams throughout this challenging period.
