1. As Triangle emerges, the Paris sky becomes its façade (France)
Pyramids have often been attributed with mystical properties. Triangle seems determined to keep that tradition alive. As the construction lift disappears, the tower is finally revealing itself in all its glory. In the photos below, the building seems to change personality with the weather, capturing the shifting colours, shapes and reflections of the clouds drifting above Paris. Grey, blue or somewhere in between, no two moments look quite the same. The result is a façade that feels almost alive, constantly responding to the sky around it. Yet the magic is not only visual.
The building was designed to play with light rather than block it. Thanks to its slender pyramid shape and carefully considered orientation, Triangle will cast minimal shadow on its neighbours, allowing sunlight to continue flowing through this part of the city. A beautiful glimpse of a landmark becoming exactly what its designers imagined.
2. No margin for error (Belgium)
Sometimes the most challenging part of a project happens before the machine even reaches site. These images tell that story perfectly. Our FUNDEX 2800-4 had to pass beneath an exceptionally low bridge, leaving virtually no room for manoeuvre. What followed was an exercise in precision and teamwork. The machine was first fully unloaded, then guided centimetre by centimetre across steel plates, before being reassembled once the obstacle had been cleared. Every movement mattered. Every detail had to be right. Thanks to the skill, patience and coordination of our Franki Foundations colleagues on site, the entire operation was completed safely and without a hitch. A nice reminder that success on a foundation project often starts well before the first pile goes into the ground.
3. Tiny builders steal the show in Townsville (Australia)
The longest queue of the day was not for ice cream. It was for a construction site in miniature. At G'Day Little Queenslanders in Townsville, more than 4,000 people gathered to celebrate Queensland's newest generation, and one attraction quickly became the crowd favourite: the BESIX Watpac diggers and sandpit. Dozens of young visitors with hard hats, high-vis vests and excavators were eager to try their hand at life on site. Behind the smiles lies something more meaningful. Every engineer, operator or project manager started somewhere, and events like this help spark curiosity long before career decisions are made. A big thank you to the BESIX Watpac team who brought the experience to life.
4. The final piece of the puzzle is green (Saudi Arabia)
From the outside, it may look like workers are simply rolling out grass. In reality, one of the most technical phases of the Aramco Stadium project is now underway. With the seating, giant screen and external façade reaching their final stages, attention has shifted to the playing surface itself. The stadium is entering its final chapter, as teams install the pitch and its sophisticated turf system. Hidden beneath the green surface are layers of drainage, irrigation, ventilation and hybrid turf technology designed to meet the demands of top-level football. Congratulations to all our teams on site who continue to push the project towards completion.
